Renea will be the first to tell you that hospitality is in her blood. She has loved hospitality and tourism for as long as she can remember. The daughter of two Walt Disney World employees, her parents began working for Disney when the resort was merely Central Florida swampland. Her mother, now retired, worked in Disney travel under supervisor Harris Rosen, the entrepreneur who would go on to establish Rosen Hotels & Resorts and become the namesake for UCF’s hospitality college.
Renea is a graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management where she earned some of the university’s top academic recognitions, held leadership positions in student organizations and spoke at conferences around the world. Her work includes corporate meeting planning and higher education initiatives, training the future hospitality workforce. She currently contributes to the hospitality industry with her time, talent and leadership.
Renea was led to FA because she desires to end modern-day slavery. With her strong ties to the hospitality industry, she appropriately serves as the Hospitality & Tourism Coordinator educating Central Florida’s tourism and convention industry to mobilize them to stop human trafficking in their businesses.
